Fanning the fire midweek, we are tossing you a spontaneous quote, question, or conundrum related to Monday’s post. We invite you to riff on this prompt. Or, take a walk on the wild side, and share a story of wisdom, hilarity, or heartbreak to spark further conversation about the path of motherhood. This is a space to talk amongst ourselves—so gather round the hearth, warm your hands, and bare your soul.
We all know a mother’s intuition is a force to be reckoned with, but how can we put it to work for us day-to-day? Here’s a snippet from The Mother’s Wisdom Deck that may rally your inner knowing:
When you are struggling with a question or a choice, seek insight through stillness. Articulate what you are hoping to clarify, and wait for a response. The answer may come in many forms—a chance encounter, a premonition, a sudden momentum toward or away from the matter at hand. As a complement to stillness, look to spontaneity. Step outside your routine, take a new path through the woods, observe your surroundings as if you were seeing them for the first time. Then, using the principle of synchronicity, allow your intuitive self to interpret the signs.
Try this out or experiment on your own, and then share your story of how intuition has helped you navigate the unknown.
