At the library that day, in my heigthened receptive state, I noticed a box of postcards near the book check out. The bevy of buddhas caught my eye, and I happened to come across one that had this message on the back. I have it up in my office now, and I think of it as one in an imaginary series I call “Postcards from the Edgeless”:
Don’t you love the Hee! Hee! Such a good reminder not to take anything too seriously.
And somehow I think this photo of Oriah, staring into the cage of the lizard at the W.O.W museum, also deserves to be part of this post on receptivity.
